SAB YAAD RAKHA JAYEGA

SAB YAAD RAKHA JAYEGA

(Everything will be remembered)

A poem written by Student Amir Aziz against the fascist and racist citizen laws, the Citizen Amendment Act, CAA

Everything will be remembered

Kills us and we will become ghosts

And write of your killings with all the evidence

You write jokes in court

We will write justice on the walls

We will speaks so loudly

That even the deaf will hear

We will write it so clearly

That even the blind will read

You write injustice on this earth

We will write revolution in the sky

Singer George Roger Walter of the Pink Floyd repeated these words at a concert last springs
